Two weeks after "Tropical Storm GuStav" passed through the Blue Mountains we are still reeling from its effects, here at Lime Tree Farm & all over the Blue Mountains we are still cut off from the outside world with our roads blocked & no electricity, thankfully we have not been hit by 3 hurricanes in a row like Haiti & Cuba but we have felt the combined effects of these storms with constant rain for the past 3 weeks. 4 people lost their lives during Gustav in Gordon Town - the gateway to the Blue Mountains & our thoughts go out to their families.

We would like to send a message of regret out to our brethren in Haiti & Cuba who have suffered miserably with considerable loss of life -  when will the worlds super powers realize that"Global Warming" is causing considerable damage & hardship to some of the poorer people on this planet & make some serious commitments to at least slow it down?
